Get the Latest on Our Construction Project

If anyone ever tells you it’s easy to build an anaerobic digester, don’t believe them.

For months, construction crews have been working night and day to move our project forward. They’ve dug into frozen soil to lay our foundations, worked outdoors through some of the most frigid days a northern Wisconsin winter has to offer, and toiled in the sweltering heat of the summer.

Today, thanks to their hard work and dedication, we’re within sight of the finish line.

Basically everything we need to produce energy from waste water is built and in place. Our anaerobic digester reactors are fully equipped. Generators are installed and ready to produce electricity and heat. Cement floors have been poured, engines have been installed, and a solid roof is now firmly in place over our heads.

We’re not there yet. A lot of plumbing and electrical work is left to be done; not to mention the work and expertise it will take to get one of the largest projects of its kind in the United States up and running. That said, we’re right on schedule to being fully operational by mid-June.
