This is an exciting time for the GreenWhey Energy team.
For the past three years, we’ve been working hard to make our innovative waste-to-energy project a reality. We have worked with leading engineers, construction firms, financial consultants, government agencies, and innovators in the design of water treatment and electricity-generating equipment to build something never before seen in the dairy industry: an independent business that treats organic waste from multiple food producers and generates heat, fertilizer, and electricity.
It’s been a long haul, but we’ve finally arrived (well, almost). Our facility is on track to be fully operational by June 1.
To celebrate this important milestone, we’re introducing the GreenWhey Energy blog. We’ll use this space to give you an inside look at our project—filling you in on important events, day-to-day operations, and the latest developments in the anaerobic digestion business at large. Whether you have been involved in our project from the start or simply have an interest in waste-to-energy projects, we hope that you’ll find much to interest you here in the weeks and months ahead.
