We’re closer than ever to making our vision of sustainable wastewater management a reality.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve moved beyond the construction of our building and the placement of our equipment into the final stage of the start-up process: testing our entire process flow for functionality. Basically, we’re making sure that the facility we have neatly designed on paper will actually work like it’s supposed to in real life.
To do that, we’re going through our entire process, system by system, to ensure that everything is in working order. We’re following pipes to make sure they connect where they should, operating control switches to test whether they operate the correct equipment, and watching in real time to ensure that valves that say they’re open or closed on a computer monitor actually are.
It’s a painstaking and oftentimes frustrating process, but after two years, we want to make sure we get it right.
If we keep up our current pace, we should be ready to treat wastewater and produce electricity within a few short weeks.
Until then, have a look at some of the most recent photos from our facility below.
