Searching around Google Maps today, we noticed that the GreenWhey Energy construction site is now visible via satellite.
Judging by the early progress (and the green grass) this image looks to have been taken sometime last summer. We’ve come a long way since then, but with the roof not yet in place you can get a good look at the layout of our facility.
See those two large rectangles in the middle? That’s where the two large digester reactors are currently located. These reactors will be the central point of our entire facility. Organic compounds there will break food waste down into methane, fertilizer, and water. Along the sides, you’ll find spaces for the industrial generators, electrical equipment, intake, and offices.
We can’t wait to see the images when our facility is finally up and running!Share
